Description

Sampling music refers to the practice of taking a portion or "sample" of an existing sound recording and using it as a building block for a new composition. The sample can be taken from any source, such as a piece of music, a sound effect, or a spoken word recording. Once a sample has been isolated, it can be manipulated in various ways, such as altering its pitch or tempo, adding effects, or layering it with other sounds.
